This is the major cultural difference between a civilized society and some little backwater has-been society. Being we are the Biggest, Baddest, Strongest Mutha on the block, we actually can apologize to the little geeks when we hurt their feelings. It's nothing to us because who the hell cares what you think and we would really just not have to go through the trouble of swatting you down again.
In your "culture" you take an apology as a sign of weakness, so you won't apologize for anything. Hence your stupid fucking generational tribal wars and bitching about crap that happened 500 years ago. If you were culturally aware you would realize that we grew out of the Hatfield and McCoy era back in the 1890's. We consider the first to apologize over a perceived slight the bigger man. But, you wouldn't understand that being raised in a culture that stopped growing in the 600's.
We do not fear you. We have tolerated you. Your bellyaching all the time about everything is now starting to just piss us off. It took Israel just six days to kick your asses in the ‘60’s (three against one). It took us 100 hours to kick Soddom's {sic} ass out of Kuwait and took us 41 days to overrun Iraq completely, and we didn't even have to use our big toys.
Your people have been pushing in to many places claiming we aren't willing to accept your religion. Tolerate it, yes. Accept it, maybe. Bow to it, NEVER.
