Delftsman, who blogs on emigre with a Digital Cluebat and had gone through heart surgery a few months ago, had to undergo a new round of bypass surgery. The old coot wouldn't listen to the doctors, his family, or the people that visit his site and change his evil ways of living.
Delfts was one of the first people I communicated with over at the Rott and was an inspiration to start this backwater site (so blame Misha and Delfts if you're reading this).
My prayers are for him and his family that the recovery goes as well as the surgery.
